Founded on November 3, 2008, under the leadership of Professor Khondkar Siddique-e Rabbani, this department serving as a forerunner in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, and Technology in Bangladesh. This department aims to bring the benefits of modern healthcare technology to underserved populations in developing countries like Bangladesh. The department’s mission includes training professionals to develop and manage advanced healthcare technologies, operate sophisticated biomedical equipment in hospitals, and assist doctors in disease diagnosis and treatment planning.
