MS in Biomedical Physics & Technology
Session: 2022 – 2023

Eligibility for Application

Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Must have a GPA of 3.50 out of 5.00 or equivalent grades in both S.S.C. and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations. 
  • Must have a Four (4) years bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent from any UGC-approved university / recognized foreign university.
  • Application with appeared certificate is allowed but must present published result during the interview (on 11 February 2024) to be eligible for admission.
  • Applicants from the following undergraduate programs are eligible to apply:
    • Biomedical Engineering
    • Medical Physics
    • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
    • Physics
    • Applied Physics & Electronics
    • Electronics and Communication
    • Information and Communication Technology
    • Robotics and Mechatronics
    • Computer Science and Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Mechatronics
    • Relevant disciplines

Note:

1. The eligibility of the applicant from relevant programs not mentioned above will be decided by the Departmental M.S. 2022-23 Admission Committee.

2. If selected for admission based on the written examination, candidates who do not hold a bachelor’s Degree from public universities in Bangladesh must fulfill the minimum requirements for admission as certified by the degree equivalence committee of the University of Dhaka.

3. Candidates must have proof of degree completion during the time of application. Appeared certificate is not acceptable. Failure to show the required document will be considered as ineligibility of the applicant, and the applicant will not be considered for admission.
